Barbara is a licensed physician assistant with extensive experience in primary care, gynecologic, and endocrine medicine. A Florida native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2012, her Master of Science in Health Science in 2013, and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021 from Frostburg University.
Before transitioning to clinical medicine and patient care, Barbara worked as an allied health education professor, teaching Biology and sharing her passion for science and health with her students. As a PA, she has evaluated and managed a broad spectrum of patients, addressing both chronic and acute health concerns.
Barbara has a special interest in endocrinology, metabolism, obesity medicine, and nutrition, and she loves to educate her patients about their health. Her goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions and lead healthier lives. Barbara is committed to serving as an effective resource and advocate for her patients throughout their health journey, supporting them every step of the way.
