I highly recommend Rivas to anyone who needs to accomplish their weight loss goals and for those that just need a good weight loss support system. I've been seeing Dr Rivas Weight Loss Clinic off and on, at 55 Kensington Pkwy, Abingdon, MD 21009, since 2004. The staff at this location staff are very compassionate, friendly, and accommodating. Dr Rivas has great bed side manners, very friendly strikes up a casual conversation that makes you feel very welcomed, I met with Dr. Rivas in 2004, highly recommend Dr. Paul Rivas as your professional weight loss / control consultant. During the Covid phase I gained quite a bit of weight, 65 pounds to be exact. I've had a difficult time trying to shed this extra weight, I've decided to visit Dr Rivas Weight Loss Clinic on September 4, 2024. At the time of my initial visit I weighed 227 pounds at a height of 5'9". After 3 months of consultations with the Clinic PA's, I've lost 62 pounds, my weight is currently at 165 lbs, my target weight is 155 to 160 lbs, almost there and should make this goal after the Holidays Dinners.Attached is the before and after photo, the before taken on September 4th, 2024 and the after picture taken on December 23rd, 2024, I feel soo much better now, I have more energy, I do not tire as easy, and my clothes fit much more comfortably now. I have visited 2 locations Glen Burnie and Bowie. When I tell you they have the best staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I’m not putting names in this post because everyone in both locations are excellent at what they do. I love this place and the people; Oh, and the weight loss meds definitely do what they say they’re going to do. I went from 237lbs in June to 202lbs in December💪🏽I pray they keep giving people hope and the strength to stay focused on their goals🩵💙❤️

5 weeks in and I am about halfway to my weight loss goal! I started around 218 lbs, and I weighed in at 181 this morning. It has been surprisingly affordable, and they have lots of appointment times available to meet my scheduling needs. They actually care about your progress and help with side effects. There is a proper patient education component, too. I have lots of energy and confidence already!Update: I submitted my invoices to Cigna, and they counted the cost toward my deductible and might cover it! Woohoo!
